SetupDesk is free to read, and some of the links to VPN providers are affiliate links. If you click one and subscribe, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. That commission is how the site pays for itself.
What it does not change
A commission never changes the steps we publish or the providers we suggest. We are a setup guide, not a rankings site, so we rarely tell you which single provider to buy — and when we do name providers, we include ones that pay us nothing, such as Mullvad and Windscribe, precisely because our advice has to stand on its own. Affiliate links are marked so your browser treats them as sponsored, and we point them at providers' pages, never at unrelated redirects.
About VPN pricing
VPN prices change often and depend on the plan length, your region, and current promotions. We avoid quoting exact live prices and ask you to check the provider's own page for the current figure. Commissions do not influence how we describe a provider's features or limitations.
